Typikon
The liturgical constitution — the book governing the order of all services throughout the year; a theology of time in rubrical form.
The Typikon (from 'type, pattern') is the comprehensive set of rubrics governing which services are served when, which texts are used, how feasts are ranked and combined, and the conduct of the entire liturgical year. The Typikon is not merely a rulebook but a theological text: its ordering of the year reflects a complete theology of time.
