The Life

Anna of Kashin is venerated as a righteous one in the Orthodox tradition, commemorated in the Orthodox calendar. The righteous are those who lived in the world, often as married laypeople, princes, queens, or pious householders, and who attained to sanctity through the ordinary duties of family and civic life lived in faithfulness to Christ.
