Chapter 3

24 But when he was already present with his guard about the treasury, the Sovereign of spirits and of all authority caused a great apparition, so that all that had presumed to come in with him, stricken with dismay at the power of God, fell into a swoon and were terrified.

28 Thus he who had just entered the aforesaid treasury with a great train and all his guard lay helpless, God's power having brought all to ruin and silence.

33 And while the high priest was making an atonement, the same young men appeared and stood beside Heliodorus, and said, Give Onias the high priest great thanks, insomuch as for his sake the Lord hath granted thee life.
