Sirach

10 Be as a father unto the fatherless, and instead of an husband unto their mother: so shalt thou be as the son of the most High, and he shall love thee more than thy mother doth.

20 Watch for a time to flee from evil; but tarry not when thou comest unto sin.

28 Strive not against the stream of the river, and let go the wind: neither go about to resist the wind of rain.
