First Epistle to the Corinthians ### Chapter I.—The salutation. Praise of the Corinthians before the breaking forth of schism among them.

§1 (¶1)

And I will give the wicked for His sepulchre, and the rich for His death, [1] because He did no iniquity, neither was guile found in His mouth. And the Lord is pleased to purify Him by stripes.
