Apokatastasis

Restoration of all things — see Apocatastasis; the term is also used in Acts 3:21 for the eschatological renewal.

Apokatastasis (also apocatastasis) is the eschatological teaching that all things will ultimately be restored to their original good state. Already defined under Apocatastasis. The term itself appears in Acts 3:21: 'the restoration of all things.' In its orthodox sense it refers to the eschatological renewal of creation; in its more speculative sense (universal salvation) it remains contested. Already treated fully under Apocatastasis.
